Luxor

The big black pyramid with the bright sky beam is one of the most recognizable hotels on the Strip. Unfortunately, that's about the best we can say about Luxor. The rooms are basic but livable; the bigger problem is that the casino and resort just feel old and grungy and dead most of the time. If you get a deal, and you often will, you can do worse than Luxor, but it's not hard to do better.
