The Palazzo at The Venetian

Guests share the Venetian–Palazzo pool complex, which is massive, elegant and filled with a mix of families and adults. The design leans Mediterranean with lots of greenery and stone accents, and the atmosphere is more relaxed than you might expect given the size. Service is usually solid, though loungers closer to the pools go fast. It's one of the nicer large-scale pool decks on the Strip.

The Yahoo Sportsbook at the Venetian is a renovated, lounge-style book with a big LED wall, rows of TVs and a mix of high-top tables, bar seats and couch areas. It runs on the William Hill platform and serves guests of both the Venetian and Palazzo towers, so it stays busy and can feel packed during major events. The space is comfortable and well laid out, but drinks and food are firmly in the premium price bracket. If you want a modern Strip sportsbook with good energy and lots of seating options, this one ticks most of the boxes.

Venetian is the classic "big Vegas room" experience: lots of tables, comfy seating, daily tournaments and a very professionally run operation. It draws a ton of regulars, so the games can feel reg heavy, especially in the main no-limit stakes. Players praise the room's comfort and promos, but there are also grumbles about promo drops and rake structure on some games.

TAO is a multi-room space above the restaurant, with a central dance floor, side rooms and enough nooks that you can change your night just by walking around. The club has been a staple for years, which means the operation is smooth but the format is also very familiar. Music is mostly open-format and hip-hop, and the crowd tends to be heavy on groups and celebrations. It is not the trendiest room anymore, but it still gets plenty of bodies through the door.
